Full description

Learn all about the life of the father of Modernist Architecture on this private tour. Visit his most famous buildings and the places he frequented with your expert local guide. Walk around the Plaza Real, the elegant square decorated with the streetlights of a recently graduated Gaudi. Then, visit one of his first masterpieces, Palau Güell, a sober structure in the Raval Quarter, almost devoid of the exterior decorations that so characterized his later works. Before you leave the Old City, you'll also visit the preferred tavern of Antoni Gaudi and Pablo Picasso. Walk along Paseo de Gracia, a showcase of Catalan Modernism, where the works of Antoni Gaudi and other famous architects of the time can be seen. It's impossible to understand Gaudi's work without having seen Casa Batllo and Casa Milá (La Pedrera), two masterpieces created at the peak of his career. Finally, Sagrada Familia. Enter with your skip-the-line tickets and see one of the most fascinating religious temples in the world.

Before departing, your guide will show the two main exterior facades, give you your skip-the-line tickets with audioguide, as well as tips to make the most of your Sagrada Familia visit.

The guide John was a very nice and helpful man. He adjusted our schedule to fit our needs. He explained so many things that we would never have known. He was one of the best things that happened during our stay. He even gave us a eating tip which we used for my birthday. Spent some quiet time having coffee and getting to know each other. Enjoyed every thing.

Excellent experience, a nice walk through the streets with an explanation of the history, also explained with several photos on the guide's tablet. All very interesting and easy to understand. Starting from Plaza Reial, walk to casa batlo and casa pedrera then up to the Família churchyard. The only drawback .. considering the price we expected to visit inside at least casa batlo, it was not clear in the presentation of the tour that it was all only from the outside and you only entered the Família churchyard. In any case, from the tablet of the Paolo guide we were able to see the interiors, the explanations were exhaustive. Overall it's worth it and the tour is highly recommended.

The guide in Italian that happened to us, Prucce, was very helpful and very kind. We went around a lot and she explained every single thing about Gaudi, the history of Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia, she was very prepared and also really nice. We were lucky enough to be just two on the tour that day and it was really like hanging out with a friend. Experience highly recommended!
