Full description

Discover the 2 most representative cities of northern Catalonia, Girona and Figueres, on a full-day tour from Barcelona. Explore Girona's medieval monuments on a guided walking tour, and plunge into Salvador Dalí's surreal world at the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres. Meet your guide and set off from Barcelona to head first to Girona, a city founded by the Romans. Learn about Girona's history with your guide, and admire a city used as a filming location for Game of Thrones.

See some of the finest historic architecture in Spain, including medieval walls, Romanesque and Gothic monuments, Arab baths, baroque spaces, and one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Europe. Next, make your way to Figueres, the world capital of surrealism. Take advantage of priority entrance to the Dalí Theatre-Museum, which contains the largest collection of the artist's works and is a surrealist work of art in its own right.

Step into a different universe when you enter the museum, and immerse yourself in Dalí's unique world on an orientation tour. Take some time to explore the permanent Dalí Jewels exhibition, then conclude your tour with a return journey to Barcelona and the original meeting point.

I would 100% recommend this tour! The guides, Cristina and Alex were super friendly. Girona is beautiful and we got a lot exiting information about the city from Cristina. The Dalí museum is crazy in a good way and Alex was the best guide for it, he made it more fun and interesting! Thank you!

It was a very nice day trip, with good organization. You could always contact the guide with questions. We saw a lot of interesting things and would definitely book again. The driver, Pedro, drove very safely. The coach had every comfort. A visit to the toilet was always taken into account. You should get your own drinks and food. Alex, the guide, was always there with advice and action. His English is perfect. Too bad the tour isn't in German.

The Dali Museum has long been on my must-do list and it did not disappoint. Strange and magical! Our guide Gemma did a fantastic job providing a bilingual explanation that helped deepen our understanding of Dali. The side trip to Girona was absolutely delightful as well. We learned so much from our guide Christina and had plenty of time to explore on our own.
