Good trip. Can’t fault company for the cable cars and museum being closed for the season. The hike to the cross wasn’t an easy 10 minutes it was harder. Guide was knowledgeable with lots of good information about the area. Recommend going early to the basilica—gets crowded later. Also get food asap—we waited 45 minutes to get food which limited our free time

It was a very well organised trip and Mark was great in helping with all details. Unfortunately, I felt that the place itself was not something I personally enjoyed spending 6 hours at but it is just a personal preference. The tour itself was top notch!

The entire experience was flawless. We found the right bus, were promptly greeted (dud not get her name), checked in by Laila, our tour guide, and seated. Every exchange with every passenger was managed with efficiency and a smile. This tour was a perfect day. Travel to the site about an hour on the bus. Time at the site to explore. Perfect time of year to go as there were no crowds. We heard the boys’ choir in the Basilica, and we learned a bit of the history of the area and the monastery—steeped in tradition and ritual. Laila was truly a gem. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable and always had time to answer our questions and sas willing to go above and beyond by answering travel questions nit related to our tiur, e.g., Barcelona Metro to Sagrada Familia. Thank you to Laila and her team!
