Fantastic day trip - would highly recommend to anyone. Very comfortable double-decker coach; smooth journey through some magnificent alpine countryside. Engaging and informative guide, who gave lots of interesting history about the country, the region and the buildings. Neuschwanstein was absolutely stunning - a really magical place. Linderhof was also well worth a visit.
Located 2 hours from Munich, the enchanting old-world town of Füssen lies in the foot hills of the Alps, framed by one of the most breathtaking natural settings in the world. Towering far above the village, seemingly sculpted out of the very mountains that rise magnificently to the heavens, is a sight made from the stuff of dreams: the fabulous and ethereal Neuschwanstein Castle. This glorious folly was built in the 19th-Century by the famed "mad" King Ludwig II, a man intoxicated by mythology and who himself became a legend. The shimmering white towers of the castle among the clouds are instantly recognizable to many who haven’t ever heard the name Neuschwanstein. It is the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle and is famous the world over as the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang castle. To visit it is to step inside a fairy tale. Lana was an excellent guide! All went well. We recommend the tour & the guide :)
On this football tour, see the most important sights of Munich and visit the training-grounds of FC Bayern München and the most modern stadium in Europe, the Allianz Arena. First, embark on a bus tour through the city of Munich, where you learn about the most important sights of the city. Afterwards, you will visit the home of one of the most popular football clubs in the world. The Allianz Arena, the temple of football in the north of Munich, is the third home of the long-standing football club Bayern München – after the Grünwalder and Olympic Stadiums – and certainly the most spectacular. After the stadium tour, enjoy the opportunity to immerse yourself in the FC Bayern Museum, an exhibition exploring the history of the championship record-holders. Discover cups, players and curiosities dating back over 110 years to the foundation of the club.
The really good: The guide at the Arena was excellent. The poor: Security wouldn't let us into the practice grounds so we spent most of that half hour negotiating with him. Finally we were let in five at a time. Pretty poor. Bus said it would leave at 1.30pm which it promptly did in a very German manner. However the tour had just ended and many of us didn't have time to catch the bus so had to Uber back into the city.

I had a great time on this tour. It had the right balance of history, interesting sites, and hot spots to save for later. For a fit guy in his mid 30s, the tour was not very strenuous, which was really nice because I still had some energy after the tour to continue exploring. The tour guide, Michael was very knowledgeable about the area and history and chatting with him was very enjoyable. Recommended!
Take a 5-hour tour of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, a place of memory and of education. To visit it can be a challenge, but also a deeply moving and memorable experience. A professional guide, trained and authorized by the Memorial site, will organize all travel arrangements, taking you on the return journey by train and bus from Munich. You will get a comprehensive tour of the entire area, including all the surviving original buildings, the museum exhibition center, and the cinema, which screens an English language documentary film. The guides are trained to convey often difficult and disturbing material to you with sensitivity, with dignity, with respect for the victims, and without recourse to cheap sensationalism.

The tour consisted of a mini class on how beer was made, one beer there, another at a second restaurant and traversing to HB where we paid our own way there. Met lots of fun people on the tour though. Could have skipped the beer making part. :)
Take a 2-hour walking tour of Munich to discover one of the darkest moments in the city’s history, learning of the birth of Nazism, the rise of Hitler, and the infamous Third Reich. In 1919, Germany was emerging from World War I as a defeated and humiliated nation, with Munich in the grips of hyperinflation and Bavaria dominated by revolution and assassination. Out of this fertile soil of chaos rose the Nazi movement, and one of history’s most powerful dictators, Adolf Hitler. Follow the inception of Nazism, from the first mass meeting at the Hofbräuhaus to the failed attempt to seize power at the Feldherrenhalle. You will go to the site of party rallies at Königsplatz, and stop in the Hofgarten to talk about The White Rose Resistance Movement. The tour covers all the important facts and sites that played a role in the origin of this dark chapter, which ended with the beautiful city o...

Wow! This tour was absolutely amazing. In my opinion, the premium tour is definitely worth the extra $$. Our tour guide, Ursula was fantastic and really made the experience great. We had a good group of people and the weather was beautiful. The actual castles were phenomenal and the history behind them was interesting. I’m so happy my partner and I decided to do this tour. I would definitely do it again in the future!
We had a wonderful time on our food tour. Our guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious and I learned quite a bit even though it is not my first trip to Germany. She even was very accommodating with one member of our party who had mobility issues. I highly recommend this tour!
