Benefit from pickup at a location of your choice, and then explore the narrow streets of the historical neighborhoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto. Get breathtaking views of iconic monuments such as the National Pantheon and Lisbon Cathedral. See the monumental Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery illuminated for the night. Then, watch a traditional fado show at one of the city's atmospheric fado houses. Sung by a solo performer accompanied by 2 guitarists, the intensely melancholic songs are usually about love, woes, pain, or a longing for things that were lost or never accomplished.
Experience a new side of Lisbon in this 4-hour evening walking tour through the city’s most exciting areas and landmarks. After picking you up from your Hotel we will get started at the Praça Marquês de Pombal, one of the city’s largest and most important roundabouts, and always bustling with activity. From there we will walk along the 285-foot-wide (90 meters) Avenida Da Liberdade towards the heart of the city center, admiring impressive buildings and exclusive shops along the way. At the foot of the Avenida da Liberdade we will arrive at the Commerce Square along the Tagus River. Once the home of the Royal Palace, much of the square was destroyed in the Lisbon earthquake of 1755, and rebuilt in the following decades. There was a diverse group of people at the table - 2 from Tokyo, 2 from England, 1 from Portugal, 1 from Brazil so it took some effort to carry a conversation but the food was good and the music was really well done
