Full description
Take a journey into Westeros and see epic filming locations from the Game of Thrones TV series. Meet your guide near the Grand Opera House in the center of Belfast and drive via luxury coach to the locations of Game of Thrones. This is not only Northern Island’s original Game of Thrones tour but is also provided by the same team that transported the show’s cast and crew. Enter the Caves of Cushendun where the Red Priestess Melisandre gave birth to a Shadow Assassin. Explore Larrybane Quarry, the site of Renly Baratheon’s camp. Here, among these stark cliffs, Brienne of Tarth fought in honor of Renly Baratheon. Travel down the Dark Hedges, aka the King’s Road, where Arya Stark traveled with Gendry and Hot Pie hoping to reach the Night’s Watch. See Ballintory Harbor, which was used for exterior shots for both Pyke and the Iron Islands. Cross the Carrick-A-Rede Ropebridge, a 20-meter long rope bridge that connects the tiny island of Carrickarede with the mainland. Marvel at the Giant’s Causeway, an area of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns which form a staircase. The ropebridge and the Giant’s Causeway haven’t appeared in Game of Thrones, but they would make excellent locations for your fan fiction.

We were a group of eight women from Birmingham UK and all had the most amazing time on this trip. Firstly Patrick the driver was the most outstanding tour guide, brilliantly interesting, funny and good company. The whole tour is an absolute must do, from visiting Carrickfergus Castle, the dark hedges, the Giants Causeway and much more. We had a total blast and will give this tour six stars if we could.

Steve the driver / guide was welcoming and informative - with a lovely sense of humour. Would recommend this tour wholeheartedly. N Ireland has stunning scenery. For those who are National Trust members, remember to book your entry to the visitor centre at Giants Causeway - especially on a wet day!

Deiric the Tour Driver: Giants Causeway and Games of Thrones A very polite and quiet Irish, so I thought, but the moment he opened his mouth, the awkward silence and dreary weather were punctured with subdued laughter. So I thought to myself, this tour would be an amazing journey.Intensely well informed, he is. His Historical Commentaries were short ,qsharp and decisive, his storytelling is brilliant and captivating, his jokes were cool and natural. These qualities made the tour ALIVE. Between the facts and half truths, his commentaries and stories of yore, encapsulates Ireland, a fractured and mythical country. I did promise him 5 stars but deserves 9.5. He might laugh at this, but I’m keeping the 0.5 to myself because I fell 2x to his trappings for good laughter which I honestly enjoyed. I am aware he likes his good friend Fester, lucky you if he is your driver, but Deiric is already sitting on the pot of gold by the end of rainbow, to take you beyond the Giants Causeway
