Full description
This 6.5-hour activity begins with a pick-up at your accommodation in or near Benidorm at around 10:00 AM. After a 60-minute drive you’ll reach the top of Mount Aitana, where you'll be fitted with a safety helmet, listen to detailed safety talk, and receive your bike. Ride downhill all the way, or cycle as much or as little as you like, as the minibus will always be there if you need it. After around 5 miles you’ll reach the village of Penaguila, stopping along the way to ensure your comfort. Enjoy a drink of fresh spring water while the bikes are loaded onto the trailer. Then you’ll take another downhill glide from the highest point of the ride into the village of Alcoleja. Drive up to the Safari Aitana Park restaurant for lunch at approximately 12:45 PM (not included in the tour price). In the afternoon your ride takes you past the village of Sella, where the ride ends. Head to a local bar for a beverage to celebrate your achievement and receive your certificate as proof that you've ridden 30 kilometers in the Costa Blanca mountains. You’ll be transferred back to your accommodation, arriving at about 04:00 PM.

We had an awesome time, to say the least! The ride itself was fun and easy for the most part with frequent breaks in between. Our guide was so funny and knowledgeable about the whole area, we loved it. We can 100% recommend this tour. I myself have arthritis and because we stopped a lot it wasn't too hard on my hands or anything. The car was in front of us the whole time so if you need to store your backpack or anything else there it's easy. It was also reassuring to know that if you get tired you can just ride in the car for a little bit. We saw so much beautiful landscape, animals, little towns and enjoyed the views.

A fun, dynamic and adapted excursion for all ages

I signed up not knowing if some cycling skills were necessary and the level of risk of the activity. Finally, it was a very entertaining day, you adapt well to the level and the guides are very attentive, friendly and dynamic. It is important to indicate the language, since mostly English is used, although without needing translation there is no problem. The guide Kris did so and makes the activity very fun. I would repeat again.

Fantastic experience, I would recommend this to anyone. As a middle aged women I was a little apprehensive as I imagined being among semi professional, competitive cyclists, Couldn't have been further from the truth, great family day out. The guides were brilliant, very informative and there were plenty of stops to admire the surrounding area. I would absolutely do this again.
