Enjoy paddling on a stand-up paddle board in a small group through Berlin’s Osthafen. The tour begins by the famous Badeschiff at the Arena, at the pier of the StandUpClub Berlin. Your tour guide will help you get the boards onto the water and will give you important tips on how you can stay stable on the paddle board and move forward using the right techniques. At various stops along the water you will have the opportunity to learn about the interesting history of the Osthafen. The tour takes you along the side of the Arena, the IPSE – one of the trendiest open-air clubs in the city – and old brick facades to the beautiful and historical Oberbaum Bridge. Over this bridge runs the legendary U1 metro line – the first metro line in Berlin. There, where the Berlin districts of Kreuzberg, Alt-Treptow, and Friedrichshain meet, you will paddle along the River Spree past the Molecule Man sculpture, where you can admire the size of the three figures on the water. On the way back to the pier, you will paddle past the old wall system and the wreck of the former cruise boat Dr. Ingrid Wengler.
