Full description

Learn about Berlin's history on a Segway tour that visits the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall. Hear about the tumultuous history of Germany's capital and visit Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt, Nikolaiviertel, and more.

Meet your guide in the center of Berlin and set out to explore this vibrant city on the back of a Segway. Cruise through important neighborhoods and past iconic sites as you make your way to the highlight of this tour, the East Side Gallery.

Once part of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery is now the longest open-air gallery in the world. This intact piece of the wall that divided Germany in the past is 1.3 kilometers long and sits along the banks of the Spree River.

In 1990, when the wall finally came down, more than 100 artists from over 20 countries decorated this stretch of wall with their art, a lot of which acted as a commentary on the political upheaval between 1989 and 1990.

Be sure to bring your camera along to capture this striking piece of history. Popular paintings include Dmitri Vrubel’s Fraternal Kiss and Birgit Kinders' Trabant breaking through the wall.

    Great experience!

This was a disappointing tour. The guide wasn't aware of what we had booked and asked us where we wanted to go!! He stopped at various locations but did not offer very much information at each of them and only after long uncomfortable pauses and us asking questions did we find out a little bit about the history. The segways were fun but to ride but if you are wanting to learn about the history of Berlin I would not recommend this tour. Sadly it was not what we were expecting.
