      The tour was fine, not as much historical information from the audio guide (English) as expected and it was a little incoherent; but was a good way to travel around Berlin. You MUST have a copy of the PDF document confirming your booking as the mobile voucher on the app does not suffice. Apparently the red bus company doesn’t exist anymore and has been taken on by another company and the PDF document has to be sent off to the big bosses. This created some issues as we only had the mobile voucher, but we rang get your guide and the woman on the phone was very helpful and we we’re able to gain a copy of the PDF document.

      Some buses were old some were new you can tell this company has been a while, the other tour buses had newer less packed busses. The driver didn’t stop at one of the stops even though we were standing by the stairs which meant we were much further away from our accommodation at the next stop we had to get a tram for 5 stops because of this, costing us more money. We didn’t realize where the stop was as we didn’t have our headphones in cause we were waiting for the driver to stop.

      Excellent bus tour once we redeemed the tickets. There are lots of similar tours and it was difficult to find the correct one especially as the operators appear to work for each other and their uniforms don’t match the buses!! Once on it was great. Take the boat option it is certainly worth it. Be careful which tour you buy, they advertise as 2 routes but actually you can only do one! The red one is enough for all the main sites though. Recommended for a first time short stay in Berlin but it’s probably less hassle to buy your tickets directly on the bus when you get there!!
