Of great historical importance in the origin of the GDR. After the occupation of the Russians, the Frankfurter allee became the Stalinallee. Later became and still is Karl Marxallee. This allee had to become and be a calling card for the new DDR. Beautiful, imposing buildings in typical architecture on both sides. Despite this, remarkably little interest from tourists, which in itself is not bad at all. Fine and interesting tour by foot from Tobias. Enthusiastic guide who gives a lot of background information. Highly recommended for those interested in DDR history.
