Fuerteventura: Island Flavors Full-day Tour with Lunch

1. Fuerteventura: Island Flavors Full-day Tour with Lunch

Tour the island of Fuerteventura in an air-conditioned vehicle. Get off the beaten track and visit places unchanged and unspoiled over the time.  After you are picked up from your hotel, you’ll head to an aloe vera farm where you will learn about the properties of this miraculous plant, considered as the queen of medicinal plants.  Next you’ll admire the Entallada Lighthouse, the nearest point of the Canary Islands to the African continent. Then visit the “Esparragal” bio farm and taste their olive oil, tomatoes and other naturally-grown products. You’ll also learn about the life and traditions of the Canarian people living in the countryside.  You will visit the scenic villages of Pajara and Betancuria, making a stop at one of the best goat farms and cheese shops on the island, and enjoy a tasting of their produce. For lunch, enjoy a meal of tapas in an authentic local restaurant. The last spot of the day is the famous cheese museum located in the village of Antigua. At the end of the day you’ll be dropped back to your hotel.

Fuerteventura: Discover the island by Land Cruiser

2. Fuerteventura: Discover the island by Land Cruiser

Embark on an unforgettable tour by Land Cruiser, and discover the best way to explore the Canary Islands. Fuerteventura is famous for its magnificent beaches, but the interior is something else to be desired. Step into charming villages, watch time stand still, and gaze at the beautiful beaches, unknown to many. Leave Costa Calma and head toward Sicasumbre viewpoint. Pass through Ajuy and Pajara, while enjoying the panoramic route in the mountains. Take out your camera and capture beautiful sites along the way. Next, head to the old capital, Betancuria. This small settlement was founded in 1404 and was once the capital of the island all the way up until the 19th century. From there, go offroading and discover wonderful and clandestine beaches, like Playa Jarubio and arrive at Cotillo to enjoy Escalera beach. Afterward, make a stop at Villa Verde and taste a delicious Canarian lunch. Then, explore the wonderful dunes of Corralejo, before heading back to Costa Calma.

One of the best activities done while on vacation in recent years. Family Michaelis from Belgium

An all-round successful excursion that we can recommend 100%. Everything was really right, whether punctual pickup, the individual stages, delicious tapas and not to forget our super competent, very nice guide (Ren'e?). Although we have been coming to the island for almost 30 years, he has given us a lot of new impressions.

Absolutely worth it! Very personable and competent guide who obviously puts a lot of effort into it. Interesting tour with lots of additional information and great sights. Great mix of nature and culture, even with a culinary highlight. We would do the tour again at any time and can only warmly recommend it!

Roberto and Gino were great guides and took us around the island to see the aloe vera production, goat cheese factory, the elephant mountain and much more. It was a fun day with great new things to learn. Thank you both!

Very good driver and guide, very informative and interesting
