Three stops are approached by the coach: San Sebastian (about 2.5 hours stay), Getaria (about 1.5 hours stay) and Gaztelugatxe (about 1 hour stay). During the trip, after boarding, the guide provided everyone with information (castellano + English) about the Basque Country and especially the next stop, otherwise it was quiet and you could enjoy the landscape or sleep. In San Sebastian there was a 45-minute city tour, otherwise you could explore the places yourself. Conclusion: Good organization, modern bus, very informative, acceptable level of English, very personable and informative guide, well-chosen tour/stops, always time to explore on your own, no sales shows, everyone could choose their own pace for the walks. In Gaztelugatxe, however, the time was a bit tight if you ran all the way to the top.

It has been without a doubt a great idea to do this excursion, I did it with my two cousins aged 11 and 13, and it was great! We loved San Sebastian and lost ourselves in its streets, the La Concha area, spectacular panoramic views, we were in a pintxos bar and in a cheese tasting in the Oveja Latxa store or something like that, in our free time. Getaria, very beautiful, we had lunch there, next to the port and we loved it, a very fishing atmosphere, and a very beautiful and wide landscape while we had lunch. S. Juan de Gaztelugatxe, the jewel in the crown without a doubt, surprised us, the place is so beautiful, it has everything, along the route you find yourself immersed in large groves, while you go up the steps, 200 and some, in that road that goes up towards the Hermitage, wherever you look, it is a pleasure, sea, immensity, the rocks, you contemplate becoming more and more fascinated, I loved it and the children too, you come with a charged battery.

Seeing 3 destinations in one day is great when you don't have much time. San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is an unmissable destination despite not getting a ticket to climb the steps. The viewpoint gives you a perspective that you do not have if you are going up to the hermitage. Getaria is a typical town through which to stroll to its port and from San Sebastián we saw its entire historic center as well as its beaches. A very useful day.
