This was a really fun tour. We had a wonderful guide who gave us good information and made it very enjoyable. The wine tour they provided of a small boutique winery was exceptional. We also loved having some time on our own to explore these two marvelous towns and enjoy a very delicious lunch. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a general feel for the area in a one day span. It made us all want to return to the region and explore more.

This was a combined English/Spanish tour, with 3 English speakers (including us), and around 15 Spanish speakers. The guide (Stephane) was good and spoke a lot about Basque culture and the region. The Vitoria portion was okay - but not that special. The Rioja portion took us to Laguardia, which was a nice place to visit. However, the timing of our winery tour plus lunch (not included) took us into siesta time (2:30 - 3:30), where everything seemed to be closed. The guide had recommended visiting a particular church, but when we got there, it was closed, re-opening at the time our bus left the town. Nice scenery on the bus ride down the mountains, and we stopped at a good picture location. Some nice picture spots around Laguardia as well.

Hello, we had a wonderful tour today, and with Stefan, who was simply brilliant and showed fantastic customer service. It was a day to remember and we will recommend to any of our friends who visit Bilbao to take the Vitoria and Rioja wine tour and hopefully they will also have Stefan, as their tour guide. I am a nervous passenger but Stefan was a very confident and reassuring driver, and who was always considering his guests and stuck to speed limits and drove with ease and consideration. Stefan also made a great recommendation re a venue for lunch; it was expensive, but worth it! Please pass on our thanks to Stefan for a truly memorable day.
