Blue Fern Travel was based on a love for the district and inspiration from years of traveling all over the world including Australia, Africa, South America and Europe. Throughout these adventures, a few things became clear. The most memorable highlights of these trips started with getting to know the locals, and their stories, and tasting their foods. That’s what truly makes any area special and unique. Upon returning, they also rediscovered their passion for the city and its distinct neighborhoods and cuisines, and wanted to share their experiences with others. This is the vision behind Blue Fern Travel, to share the best of the district’s neighborhoods and their delicious food with everyone. Blue Fern Travel offers Fork Tours (food) and Fizz Tours (drink). These experiences also made the team passionate about giving back. That's why they created the one-for-one food tour model where a portion of each ticket goes to feed a district resident in need for a day through their partnership with Bread for the City.
