Amelie introduced us to many of Bordeaux treats including some delicious sweets and special chocolates along with an informative wine tasting. We did have a little trouble understanding her at times as she is Chinese by nationality and sometimes it was difficult to understand what she was saying.

Had an excellent t time with René! Great driver and gave us excellent info and took us to great wineries. Each was different and we learned something new each time. Would definitely recommend them!

I can not recommend the tour Bordeaux Food Tour especially for this price. We expected some local food lover who shows us dishes and drinks from the region of Bordeaux from local producers/shops/restaurants and maybe some interaction with them. The booking said especially that there would be food and drinks at each stop. This did not happen at all. We received mostly non-local, random dishes worth 35-40 Euros. We would have been happier to go to a market on our own to sample local food and afterwards go to a restaurant offering bordelaise food and would have propably still paid less than 190 Euro. We are sad and annoyed that we missed that oppurtinity and instead wasted our money and time on the tour. There is not enough space here for more details, but we were especially annoyed that we spent 1,5-2h of the tour in a random restaurant, ordering from their non-bordelaise lunch menu (e.g. Italian tartar) which would normally cost 25 EUR but without dessert and only tap water included.
