Full description
Stroll through the historic center of Brno, capital of Moravia, and admire rich architectural treasures by day or in the evening. Visit top attractions such as the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. Follow your guide to piazzas such as Liberty Square (the main market square from the Middle Ages), Freedom Square and Capuchin Square (Kapucínské náměstí), where the crypt of the Capuchin Monastery holds the mummified remains of city noblemen. Go to the Vegetable Market, situated over a labyrinth of underground corridors that were used to store food, brew beer and mature wine. Look at the allegorical carvings of the Parnassus Fountain and admire the Renaissance facade of the Reduta Theatre, where Mozart once played. Hear the legend of the dragon and the wheel at the Old Town Hall, and see the New Town Hall, House of the Noblemen of Leipa, and Church of St. James before heading back along Joseph Street (Josefska). During festive holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, visit traditional markets and get to know more about the Czech traditions and customs.

Dagmar, our tour guide, was really personable. She has told a lot about the city. Got to know the old town even better. Discovered new places and can collect a lot of information. She even exceeded the planned time of 2 hours and also showed us restaurants, which are highly recommended. Simply great Dagmar you should read the review. Thank you Thank you Thank you Katja and Jens

The meeting point for the 2-hour tour in the Grand Hotel is perfect, you don't have to wait in the cold! Our tour guide was a woman, she was very punctual at the meeting point! Her explanations in German were very informative, humorous and easy to understand. It took us to places that we would never have found on our own and that are not mentioned in any travel guides. We also got suggestions for good restaurants and additional objects worth seeing, which we could then see on our own. She was able to answer all of our questions, it was a shame that the tour together came to an end!
