Start your 4-hour bike tour in Bucharest’s old city, where you’ll hear about the birth of the city and Romanian civilization. During Communist times the old city area was decimated and overtaken by grandiose urban projects. Today it is one of the poorest areas in Bucharest and is mostly inhabited by gypsies. Marvel at the monumental Parliament Palace, and learn about life for the people under the Ceasescu regime. Ride by buildings dating from the golden age of Bucharest of the 19th and the early 20th century. See landmarks and monuments from the time when Bucharest was known as Little Paris.

My tour guide “the Romanian Highlander” was fantastic; friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, funny, informal, and had great English. It was a really well laid out tour, a really good route, we saw all the good sights, I learned all about the history, with some added information and details. I definitely will try come back to Bucharest at some point, spend a bit longer, and maybe do the tour again. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Awesome tour with a great guide who is knowledgeable about the history of Romania and Bucharest. Highly recommended to learn about the history of the city and Romania. Only recommendation for hungry tourists, is to have a 15 minute break around lunch time to get a bite to eat. Thank you very much for a great tour!

Great tour

This tour is a perfect start to discover the city center of Bucharest. Alex, the guide, knows A lot about the history of Romania and he has a very good way to transport it to the audience. We had a wonderful time and we learned a lot about this beautiful city. Thank you!
