Had a rare hike in the winter snow! Laszlo was very informative and taught me many new things about nature. From trees and fungi to insects. The hike wasn’t too strenuous and the views from the top over the city are beautiful. A lovely half day and I recommend you take the time to experience this!

Our hike in the Buda Hills with Laszlo was very enjoyable. The scenery was fantastic, and Laszlo, our guide was a pleasure to be with. Not only did he provide a good hike, he filled us in on the history of the area and gave an impromptu lesson in picking mushrooms! We could not have had a better experience.

The hike with Laszlow was by far our greatest experience in Budapest. He hadn’t anticipated that we would come with a 2 year old but he automatically planned and took us on a most enjoyable pram/stroller-friendly trail, adding playground stops with panoramic views for our little one to enjoy, all while making us feel very comfortable and relaxed. His knowledge of the local history and area is outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed looking for mushrooms in the forest as well as hearing a bit about the history of mushroom picking in Hungary from Laszlow. In addition, he took great photos of us and sent the same evening - memories we will cherish forever! And he also added a little surprise at the end of our hike! All in all, Laszlow was very friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable. I would highly recommend booking him for a hike of the Buda Hills if you do go!
