Enjoy the views of the Hungarian countryside on a 30-kilometer drive that takes you from Budapest to the Royal Palace in Gödöllő. This was at one time the summer residence of Habsburg Emperor and Hungarian King Franz Joseph and his beautiful and charismatic wife, Sisi. On this half-day private tour you’ll have the opportunity to see the interior of the palace, and experience the opulence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. You’ll also visit a traditional farm, where you’ll be welcomed with a pogácsa (scone) and pálinka (a special Hungarian spirit). Would have expected more from the life of the local people and from the life of Sissi here in Hungary, and not from which factory the tiles on the roof come from, who lent the chair for the museum or what all the replicas are here. We have already done many informative private tours, I would not do them again

it was an interesting tour, but the destination is maybe not that spectacular as compared to other things in Hungary. The horse show was also pleasant, but maybe not that spectacular. A fine tour, but not spectacular.
