Discover Normandy’s historical sites, rich heritage, and hidden gems on a private full-day tour with an expert guide. Be introduced to the region’s medieval history, architecture, and Viking roots as you walk through a historical crash course. Start your tour by visiting the Falaise Castle — a solid stone fortress built by the Dukes of Normandy around 1000 A.D. See how dukes and knights lived, fought, and ruled, and take your time to read the poems they wrote, to listen to their songs, and to try the food they liked as you stop for lunch here. Next, head to Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives to walk around the fantastic old marketplace, stepping on stones that have belonged to the market since they were laid down in 1066. Then, visit the medieval Crèvecœur Castle in Crèvecoeur-en-Auge for another step back in time before heading to your final stop in Bayeux. There, see and learn about the remarka...

I particularly appreciated the social, architectural and historical knowledge of our guide. Her knowledge of of the sites we visited was truly impressive. I was a little disappointed in the fact that even though our 2 day tour was a tour of 25 guests, we were integrated with another tour (different language) of 25 for bus transportation. This necessitated all information presented while traveling on the bus between sites to be heard twice in two different languages. But it was still an excellent tour, with excellent overnight accommodations. I had to change my tour date after booking the tour and the customer service agents (telephone) were very accommodating. Good customer service and good flexibility. Good value overall.
You really feel like you've seen Normandy after this tour, and the taste of Brittany leaves you wanting more! The guide was very friendly, funny and welcoming, and, being from Normandy herself, she was very knowledgeable. Not only did I learn a lot about the history of France, and Europe, I was also enlightened in regards to Norman traditions and the French way of life. Furthermore, as someone who didn't really know where she was going and was overwhelmed by the amount of things to see in Normandy and Brittany, I was grateful to be in the hands of an expert. I had a much better experience than I could have planned on my own!
My primary objective was to visit Normandy WWII memorials. I would have gladly passed up extended visits to small towns, wonderful towns though they were, in favor of spending more time at Omaha beach, the American cemetery and the British memorial.
Very good collective, hotel and food. The guide must carry an umbrella, but open, it can be a tall flag, which is seen would devote another hour to honfleur and one less elsewhere
Enjoyed the trip The guides were very friendly and explained the history of france in a wonderful way ! Thanks
