From Salta: Cafayate Day Trip with Wine Tasting

1. From Salta: Cafayate Day Trip with Wine Tasting

After departing from central Salta, head south into the stunning, red-tinged lands of rock formations and towering cliffs. The trip begins south of the province, where you’ll soak up some local culture by visiting the historic villages of the Lerma Valley. Afterwards, head to the Quebrada de las Conchas, a canyon of curiously shaped rocks, eroded for centuries by water flow and strong winds. Marvel at the complex rock formations within the ravine, from the Devil’s Throat, to the Amphitheater, to The Castles, among many other spectacular displays. After a thorough exploration, head to Cafayate to visit a vineyard to taste some of the best wines that the region has to offer, including Torrontés. After the tasting, you’ll head back to Salta through the Quebrada de las Conchas.

What people are saying about Cafayate

The guide was very attentive with me. Being the only one who wanted the tour in English I sat next to the guide at the front of the bus so he could translate for me before or after the Spanish version. I also had the right to exclusive anecdotes so very nice. The bus was very comfortable and the landscapes and places visited wonderful. Just flat on the wine tasting where I did not understand the entire intervention being only in Spanish. But I absolutely do not regret this day which was very pleasant!!

They look for you at the hotel, you make the way to Cafayate through the Quebrada de las Conchas walking in all the panoramic points and to visit, you go to a winery, you arrive in Cafayate where you have 2 hours to have lunch and tour the center, they leave you again in the hotel

A very good experience, carried out in a very cute bus, but above all the way the guide carried out the excursion. The company always communicates on the eve to coordinate and always complies with the schedule.

Very good experience for the places traveled, wonderful landscapes, excellent winery.

Beautiful excursion the guide a genius and the excellent driver
