Discover the beautiful Cagliari on this unforgettable walking tour of the Old City. Cagliari is an ancient city with a long history. Its origins date back to the Phoenician Karalis, developed on a settlement traced back to the third millennium BCE. During Roman times, it became the capital of the island and in the Middle Ages, it was the seat of different foreign dominations, evidence of which is still visible throughout the city today. Enjoy this walk through the narrow streets of the old district of Castello to discover the beauties of the city. Among Medieval Towers, Bastions, the Royal Palace, and the Cathedral, you will discover the history of this amazing fortress facing the sea. The panoramic points of the Castello will offer unforgettable views of the city and of the sea, of the Molentargius’ Park, and the Devil’s Saddle in all their beauty.
The tour was very interesting. Fabio gave us a lot of good recommendation even for outside of the tour and even suggested and reserved a restaurant for us

Glide through the history of Cagliari, Sardinia’s bustling capital, on an easy 2.5-hour tour by self-balancing Segway. Following a brief training session to get you up to speed on how to handle the easy-to-operate vehicles, your guide will lead you down ancient streets and through lovely parks, while a fascinating history unfolds via the complimentary audio guide with earphone set. Much more fun than a walking tour, and more eco-friendly than driving, the Segway tour visits major attractions such as the Roman Amphitheatre on the hill of Buoncammino, where gladiatorial combats and executions were once held. Pass the 13th-century Cathedral of Santa Maria, and marvel at the Romanesque and Gothic façades concealing precious objects of great religious significance. Admire the monumental Bastion of San Remy, built by the Spanish between 1897 and 1903. And continue to Elephant Tower, the seco...
Lidia was a truly excellent guide whilst keeping an eye on our safety at all times. We got to see areas of the city that we would never have found on our own. It was a great experience
Start your kayaking excursion in Marina Piccola. Get into a comfortable kayak for easy access to the Devil's Saddle. Listen as your guide tells you about how the rocks in the area were formed. Feel at ease with a life jacket and waterproof bag as professional instructors show you the basics of kayak paddling. Starting from the port of Cagliari, you’ll begin your excursion by driving along the pond of Molentargius, where you can see the characteristic pink flamingos and the Devil’s Saddle, a prominent rock formation overlooking the Poetto Beach. After this, you’ll drive along the island’s southern coast, with no shortage of wonderful landscapes to admire and plenty of opportunities to take pictures. You’ll arrive at the beach of Compulongu, where you’ll have the chance to cool off with a dip into its crystal-clear waters and go snorkeling in this protected marine area. Then, enjoy lunch in the pine forest, either your own packed lunch or eat in a little self-service restaurant. After lunch, continue on to the famous Porto Giunco beach, where you can walk on its white sands and see the beautiful granite rocks. Your tour ends back in Cagliari.
It was a great tour, with a very friendly guide (Claudia) and friendly driver (Barbara). They are very knowledgable about the island and brought me to the most beautiful places.
Depart from the Marina of Cagliari to see the Basilica of Bonaria with its amazing staircase. Pass through the new bike path that runs along the sea and river until the football stadium of Cagliari. See urban art under the bridges of the river that characterize the area. Arrive at the Natural Park of Molentargius and soak in the history of the remains of the old city of salt, which for centuries influenced the economy of the area. Travel by jeep to visit the hidden inlets of Chia and Teulada on the beautiful southern coast of Sardinia. On the boat you will explore the coves and beaches that were twice named the most beautiful in Italy. The waters of Chia are absolutely pristine and a shimmering, crystal clear, blue color. Dive in and enjoy. Complementing that stunning turquoise water is the peach-colored sand, and scattered among the sand dunes are lush green juniper trees. The colors are really striking. Heading to the beach is a tradition of locals and visitors alike. One of the coves you will visit is Cala Cipolla, from here you can admire the lighthouse of Capo Spartivento. This cove offers one of the best places to snorkel in South Sardinia. Your guide can provide you with the snorkel gear or you are welcome to bring your own. Sail to Cape Teulada and Cala Zafferano to get perfect views of the natural landsc...
The pick up location was around the corner from what is stated on this website, but give the local operator and call to confirm. Our guide was great, he even provided fresh figs. Took us to four swimming spots around the island. Water is stunning and sun was beaming - saw plenty of wildlife. Exactly what we wanted - bring a snorkel.
