What people are saying about Cairns Aquarium

It was fantastic not having to share the aquarium with lots of people, because it was an after hours tour I highly recommend this. All the ladies at the Aquarium were super friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. Our guide Bec was the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about the environment and you could tell how much she loved these sea creatures from her in depth explanations. We loved it so much we went back and explored the aquarium the next day to take more photos of the beautiful animals. The aquarium was impeccably clean.

Guided tour was very informative. Guide had an excellent sense of humour and dealt with overexcited children with respect, although I’m sure she would have wanted to say more ;). Dinner was delicious. Highly recommend regardless of how many aquariums you may have seen in the past.

Fantastic experience, guide very knowledgeable re freshwater fish, to salt water and the reef. Dinner was beautiful, glass of wine, I had barramundi, with a “ spliced potato, broccolini, the flavour of the meal was unforgettable! Loved it.

Overall a very informative tour and was able to see many things, the staff were wonderful and the dinner at the end was very nice all in all a great outing. I would recommend for anyone to go.

Amazing experience, fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend
