Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Take a cruise out from Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef. Encounter an outstanding landscape of marine life, and enjoy a choice of activities including snorkeling, a visit to the underwater observatory.

Prior to departure from the marina, sup on some complimentary tea and coffee. Depart from Cairns’ Marlin Marina at 9:30 AM and enjoy a cruise out of the Harbour. Witness the stunning landscape before the catamaran makes its way out to open seas.

Sail in air-conditioned comfort onboard the catamaran to the state-of-the-art activity pontoon at Moore Reef. Moore Reef is a prime location on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, abundant with soft corals and marine life. Learn about the reef and its diverse ecosystems on the outward journey with presentations given by resident marine experts. Upon arrival at the pontoon at 11:30 AM, choose from an array of activities suitable for both swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Make use of the inclusive snorkeling equipment, with wetsuits and lycra also available at an additional charge. Alternatively, watch the daily fish feeding presentations, or take a trip on the glass bottom boat or semi-submersible tour with marine experts providing commentary. Soak up the rays on a spacious sun deck, or make a splash on a theme park-style waterslide. See the reef without getting wet in the underwater observatory, and get up close and personal with marine creatures like sea cucumbers and starfish.

We had such an amazing experience, 10 out of 10, I wish I could give extra rating stars! The crew are super friendly, buffet was great, semi submersible tour is very cool! Highlight of the day was the guided snorkel tour, very knowledgeable guide, my wife doesn't swim at all and had a fantastic time! There's also an underwater photographer onboard who takes great photos!

We had an amazing day on the Reef. We loved all of the activities that were available on the Pontoon, the kids especially loved the Waterside. The trip out to the Pontoon was a tad rough, but the staff went above & beyond to look after those who weren't well. Lunch was very tasty & suitable/ well presented for my daughter who has a food allergy. We will definitely be back for another fabulous day on the reef.

The whole day was incredible. Crew members were friendly & informative. Glass bottom boat was very cool but snorkelling was definitely the highlight. You could go at your own pace & get in & out of the water whenever you wanted. One crew member was in scuba gear & taking photos of everyone & to buy the photos was very reasonably priced.
