Enjoy a pickup and head to your destination on a 45 minutes drive. Sit back and listen to the stories your guide can share with you about the history of the area and the important locations you pass by during the ride. Stop spontaneously along the way if you see something that interests you.  Arrive at your destination and use the time to take some photos. Receive a safety briefing as well as on the paddleboards. Paddle up the river for the first 20 meters on your knees and learn how to paddle. Once you are sorted the guide will get you up and show you everything needed to make your experience pleasurable and fun. Paddle to a little river beach where you can swim, take photos and play some board games. Get more confident before continuing the paddle adventures.  Paddle for 40 minutes looking for rare species, wild horses, cassowaries, kingfishers and rare eels. Jump in the water for a swim whenever you feel like it. No rush on the river as it's just magical, and you can feel the history of the land. Walk through some gentle rapids, and continue to paddle to the morning tea spot. Enjoy 45 minutes of morning tea which is usually locally seasonal fruit, homemade hummus, and crackers. Your guides dogs are often with the group for the trip which makes the experience super special and unique. Drifting back is the best bit where you can relax, swim, rest on your board as we take in the beauty of the Goldsborough Valley. Once back at the car head back to Cairns where you can be dropped off at your accommodation or the city. Amazing experience at the Great Barrier Reef! I snorkeled and saw so many beautiful things. The day was really well done, organized and efficient. One of my favorite days on my entire trip to Australia. Highly recommend, a must see if you're traveling in this part of the world!

The staff were fantastic, snorkelling was fun. Lunch delicious. On-board showers are available for rinsing only. With only 30 seconds allowed & the bumpy ride back, don't plan on a shower where you can change into dry clothes.
