Full description
Start with pickup from your hotel or another selected location in Cairo or Giza between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Board a comfortable air-conditioned car and enjoy a comfortable 100-minute ride to the Wadi El Rayan Desert. Upon arrival, enjoy fantastic views of the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls in the heart of the desert. Admire the powerful cascades of water which provide a stark contrast to the surrounding arid landscape. If you are lucky, catch glimpses of desert wildlife in the area such as the slender-horned gazelle. Next, make a stop for photos of the beautiful Mudawara Mountains. Then, get ready to enjoy the desert adventure. Board the 4X4 car for some dune bashing and experience the excitement as the car glides through yellow, soft sand. After about 1.5 hours riding over the dunes, stop to enjoy some sandboarding. Strap yourself to the sandboard and glide down the sparkling, yellow sand at a fast pace. Next, mount a camel and feel like a Bedouin explorer as you ride through the beautiful desert terrain. After the camel ride, stop at a Bedouin desert camp and enjoy an elaborate and delicious BBQ lunch. Once you are done with your lunch, you will be dropped back to your hotel or selected location in Cairo or Giza.

Mahmoud Emam as an amazing tourist guide. He embodied the classic Egyptian hospitality and kindness like no other. Our trip to the Fayoum Oasis began with Ramy, a safe and knowlegable driver who took us all the way to just a couple of minutes away of the entrance to the Wadi el Ryaan, where we met our second, 4x4 driver, Sobhi. Sobhi was an outstanding and funny driver who took us all throughout the Fayoum Oasis and accompaning us to beautiful and breathtaking locations that really sparked how beautiful Egypt is. We went to various lakes, mountains, went sandboarding, and help us take beautiful pictures that will last in our memories forever. Mahmoud, our tour guide, provided us with insights, tips and reccomendations throughout the tour. He really went all in and provided us what we considered, one of the best travel and adventurous experiences. The food was delicious and homemade as we admired the waterfalls of the Wadi el Ryaan. Additionally, our travel to Egypt was completely safe

We went on a 4×4 safari as our first activity from Cairo, and I sincerely say that we couldn't imagine a better start!! Our guide Fares had an extremely fun and outgoing personality, so it felt like traveling with a very good friend (who also makes great pictures ;)) And iur driver - a real Bedouin man - was an amazing dune-bashing professional, who knew the desert perfectly! Sunboarding and swimming in oasis was indeed a unique experience, that we will remember! And having a delicous freshly-cooked lunch in a nice bedouin camp was a very cozy way of ending our adventures! We honestly recommend this trip, if u want not only to have a fun time in the desert, but also meet amazing people!

It is one of the best programs you can do in Egypt. This was my favourite day in Cairo, my guide Faris was amazing, very friendly and informative and our driver was a really nice, cheerful man too. I enjoyed the camel ride and swimming in the lake at the middle of the desert. The beduin village we stopped for eating was beautiful, it's an experience I would recommend for everyone.
