We had a wonderful first day in Cairo with Mervat as our guide and Ramy. Mervat explained to us very well the sightseeing attractions before we saw them and then reinforced the message when we got closer to the attractions. We also got a general understanding of Egyptian culture, economy and living. She answered all of our questions with great english, professionalism and empathy. Ramy was a great driver, always took care of us, made sure we had water with us, snacks and was in a good mood, always very caring and stopping by the closest possible to the sightseeing attractions to avoid us having to walk too much. Ramy ensured we used hand gel sanitizer throughout the day as a covid protective measure. We felt safe, both followed Covid preventative measures with face masks and it felt safe visiting the pyramids given limited people (very empty) which was also great for pictures! I definitely recommend the tour and also travelling at this time of year. Great hospitality!

This trip was my favorite day of my vacation! Mahmoud and Remy made it so much fun. Mahmoud is so knowledgeable and really helps you feel apart of history. You will get to see the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the Bent Pyramid, and Classical Pyramid here you can get some cool pictures and see how the progression of Pyramid building happened. You can go inside and see the tombs which you should do for at least one of them. Later in the day, you will get to go and see the three Giza Pyramids, climb up on the Great Pyramid, and all day you will have so many great photo opportunities. Mahmoud and Remy both helped record the experience and made the feel like you were hanging out with friends! Lunch is at a local restaurant and is very good with a variety of local dishes. When you book make sure you ask for Mahmoud and Remy with Ocean Air Travel, they seriously are the best!

This is a fantastic tour. You get to visit pyramids at Giza, Dahshur and Saqqara and understand their connections. It’s a bit of a long day but worth it. The tour guide on the other hand not so great. The information on the tour is very specific: you go to 3 sights to visit pyramids but she kept trying to push other places and making it sound as if they were also tours but they were just shops (makes me wonder if she has a deal with them). If the guide offers to take you to a papyrus institute, aromatic oil shop or a hieroglyph necklace shop, say NO cause they will take time from your visit to one of the sights (it happened to me, I was rushed at one of the pyramids). Other than that, great day - I was the only one that booked the shared tour on that day so in the end I had a private tour.

We enjoyed this trip so much! I would recommend it to anyone thinking about it... before the trip we were a little worried about it, especially because it takes approx. 5 hours one way... but it was perfect... the drivers were responsible, we felt really safe, also in Cairo, where the traffic is really chaotic :) we made enough stops for buying coffee, toilette, etc. The guide in Cairo was perfect, spoke with such enthusiasm, also giving insider tips about life in Egypt, where to buy souvenirs, where to book a camel ride by the Pyramids... Would really recommend the boat drive on the Nile, worth the money... Looking forward of booking also a trip to Luxor when we come back next time... Shukran !

Had a great trip, an extremely long journey there and back. One of the drivers kept falling asleep at the wheel and we had to keep telling him to wake up! The pyramids and Sphinx were the highlight of our holiday and we even got to go inside the smaller one. You get hassled a lot but our guide Hanna was very nice snd told us the tips and tricks of where to buy and how much to pay. Cairo is such a crazy place, so hectic and fast-paced, but Hanna kept a good eye on everyone and made sure we all knew what we were doing. Lunch was very average, a restaurant near the pyramids (Cleopatra). All in all would definitely recommend.
