Learn about the history of the temple before heading to your river boat for lunch. You’ll check into your room and then the boat will depart for Edfu. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner and free time in the comfortable surroundings of the boat. Day 3 After breakfast on board, take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu. You’ll then enjoy a guided visit of the Temple of Horus. Marvel at the best-preserved religious place in Egypt with imposing sandstone structures of Horus. You’ll enjoy lunch back on board the boat as you sail to your next destination. In the afternoon, visit the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo. Learn about the structures of the temple and how it was built in honor of two great gods. Return to the boat for dinner and free time. Day 4 In the early morning, check out and take your breakfast box, then, you’ll head to one of the most stunning temple complexes in Egypt, the Abu Simbel Temples. The twin temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari were built into the mountainside in the 13th century BC, under the dynasty of Pharaoh Ramesses II. Your guide will take you back to the cruise to take your luggage. You’ll then be transferred to Aswan airport to take the flight back to Cairo (Duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes). Wadi Hitan or Valley of the Whales is located in the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan and it was designated by UNISCO as a world Heritage Site in recognition of the 40 million year –old whale skeletons found there. On the way to Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, visit Mudawara Mountain. Then onto Wadi Al Ryan Water Falls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, 42 m below sea level. First, go 80 kilometres to Dendera to see the temple dedicated to the goddess of joy and love, Hathor. Next, go to The Mortuary, which is located in Dendera, a city to the north of Luxor. The Temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu is a significant Kingdom-period building in Egypt's west bank city of Luxor. Day 01: El Minya – Tuna El Gabal In the morning you will be picked you up by your private guide and driver from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to El Minya, about 4 hours. Arrive El-Minya and start to visit the city’s site, including the great plain where Akhenaton received his divine inspiration to build his city. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in El Minya, then proceeds to Tuna El Gabal where you can see the tomb of Petosiris, Ibis catacombs, and Isadora tomb (This tomb goes back to the 2nd century AD and belongs to Isadora renowned for her beauty in the city of Hermopolis ), overnight in El Minya. Day 2: Beni Hassan – Tel El Amarna – Cairo In the morning, your tour guide will escort you to Beni Hassan, where you can see Bakhet III's tomb (Bakhet III was the Governor of the Oryx Nome), Khnumhotep tomb (Khnumhotep was a governor under Amenemhat III in the 12th dynasty) and Khety tomb (It belongs to a governor in the 11th dynasty). Lunch at a local restaurant then proceeds to Tel El Amarna where you can see the northern tombs, which are Ahmose tomb and Huya tomb. Later, drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
