We had a sensationally great tour with Angelo. The day before, we had ordered a second jeep so that friends could come with us. We were picked up punctually at Mein Schiff and then the exciting tour began. We drove through the smallest alleys with 2 jeeps, partly off-road, and drove to great vantage points where nobody else could get to. The steepest passages, through deep mud, everything was there. Whether Nonnental or Fischerdorf, where we park in places where nobody else drives, it was a great experience for all 9 in 2 jeeps. Absolutely to be recommended in contrast to many other Jeep Tour offers and at a smart price. And not to forget a big compliment to our driver Angelo, who explained everything about the country and its people to us. He only speaks English and Portuguese, but there are also German-speaking drivers as with our second jeep.

A great trip if you don’t want a full day. The Land Rover was great for a half day trip (might be a bit cramped for a full day). This tour covered all the parts we wanted to see including the cliff view, Nuns valley and included a bit of off roading (without being too much). Final bit of free Madeira wine tasting.

Magnificent experience with a driver who can make Paris Dakar and more with a smile Explanations throughout the visit and very friendly stops without stress you can take the time you want to visit Congratulations to mauricio if we come back to funchal we will resume a visit to the island without any problem

Mauricio was a great guide: he was able to tell a lot and was funny. We saw a lot of beautiful places and he also knew good secret places. It was pure adrenaline and not for the faint of heart, but totally cool.

Absolutely fantastic. Our driver/guide were brill. Laughs had all round
