We met the rep and then our guide Gino at sorrento train station at 9.30am. We got onto the train with no issues. It takes around 40-50 minutes to get to Pompeii by train then it’s a short walk to the entrance. It was well organised and smooth sailing to get into Pompeii. The guide Gino was fantastic, he had so much knowledge and he made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this trip. As we already had our train fare included we decided to do a trip in the afternoon wine tasting with lunch at a vineyard in Mount Vesuvius which we booked for 1pm and they picked us up outside the train station in Pompeii which was very convenient. We would recommend if booking another trip after Pompeii then it would be better around 2-3pm as there is so much to see at Pompeii. After our wine tasting we got transport back to the train station in Pompeii and with our train tickets from the morning trip traveled back to sorrento. Fabulous day!

I felt very lucky to have picked this tour out of the many Pompeii tours available! Gino our tour guide was so interesting and he had a great way of telling the story of Pompeii, the history of the city, its people and the link between past and present day living! Wonderful tour, very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Thank you from two tourist happy Irish customers!!!

This tour was amazing! Diego was such an informative and kind tour guide. I believe without a tour you wouldn’t know what you were looking at. But with Diego, we learned so much and had a great time seeing the two ancient cities. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in this kind of excursion!
