    It was a great tour. I was expecting to learn about the local food (and I did, it’s delicious!), but I was also taught plenty about the Venetian history and culture! Definitely recommend it if it’s your first time in Venice (or second or third, like some people in the group). Silvia was amazing! Great guide, count yourself lucky if you get her! Fantastic storyteller and she knows so much about Venice and all the best places to eat.

    The glass blowing part of the tour was incredibly short. I would have loved to watch a more complicated demonstration. The creation part of the tour was fun, with lots of options for jewelry (fewer for the mosaics).

    This walking tour set us up for maximizing our time in Venice. We got to understand where things were- get our bearings. We also learned about places to visit we would have otherwise missed, and they were well worth our time on subsequent days. Our guide’s tips on local food options were much appreciated also.
