After your pickup, ride along jungle-fringed roads to Tulum, a walled Maya city perched on the coast above the crashing waves of the Caribbean. En route, your guide shares facts about the ancient Maya and the trade routes that crisscross the Yucatan. Once you arrive, enter the archaeological site to explore the mysteries of this fascinating and well-preserved city. Listen to theories about Maya rituals, worship, and daily life as you walk around the site's clifftop Castillo. From the site, you can look out over the coast and Tulum's famous stretch of long white sand. After your tour, have some free time to take photos, go for a walk along the beach, or take a dip in the balmy turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The tour with our guide Thomas was very cool & recommendable. - Duration: 8-9 hours - But the nature tax was 300 MXN or 15$ USD instead of 10$ USD. - Tulum ruins are very interesting, but overcrowded with tourists and overpriced. - The cenote is amazing and beautiful. - Value for money is great from this tour and not so many extra costs

Our guide Tomas made the day very interesting and exciting. He involved us and shared a lot of knowledge with us. An absolute highlight was the cenote. Again, Tomas told us a lot and worried about our well-being and safety. It was an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, the cenote is too dark to take your own photos. The photos that were taken by a cenote employee in 10 minutes (about 15 pieces) are very nice but at 30 USD too expensive for our taste. But it's perfectly fine if you don't want to buy the photos.

The trip is as advertised. We went to Tulum, the guide explained interesting information about the place and then we had almost two hours to explore the area. Afterwards we went to the Chaak Tun cenote and the route was fun. During the transfers between zones, our guide Tomas livened up the tour with recommendations and some stories related to the places we visited. I recommend it, especially if you want to do an excursion that does not last all day.
