Full description

Discover the Mayan Riviera first-hand on a guided tour of the region. Swim in the clear waters of a cenote, and marvel at an old Mayan city, among other local natural and cultural wonders.

Begin your tour with a visit to Tulum, an old Mayan city built on the seashore. Marvel at its vestiges, including El Castillo, El Templo de Los Frescos, and its beautiful white sand beach.

Next, discover Cobá, a hidden Mayan town, now in ruins, boasting the tallest pyramid in the entire Yucatán Peninsula. Climb up to the top to admire the sprawling jungle surrounding you and marvel at its sounds. Stop for a buffet lunch along your tour and taste local delicacies. Afterward, head to the Cenote Zemway, an other-wordly natural underground sinkhole filled with crystalline water where you can swim. It was a great trip. Not too crowded, friendly staff and cheap. Compared to the tour to providers at the stands, we were able to save around €50. The we had plenty of time for sightseeing. The only thing that was a pity was that Cobá was closed, but that's not their fault. An alternative was offered.

The tour guides really make or break the tour! And in this trip they MADE IT! The guides, especially Raymundo was exceptional: he explained everything in the scorching heat giving us a complete understanding of the history, culture and life of the places we were visiting. The other guides with him helped keep track of the people and offered water for free to make sure we were all well hydrated: it showed great care! We spent the morning in Tulum, we then went to Coba and experienced the park on an enjoyable bike ride! The site is very large and you can cover more ground on bike than by foot (if you dont like to bike (rental 60 pesos), they have little wagons where someone will bike you around for a little more money) but it beats walking in the heat. This fee is on you-bring pesos. After Coba, they took us to a cenote but it didnt have that cavern feel, and we hit traffic on the way to Playa Del Carmen at the end of the day, so we only had an hour to powerwalk the touristy district.

The tour was very complete, the places all amazing! Guides very kind and shared lots of info. They helped us have a great tour even when the weather was not good. The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t enforce the usage of face mask inside the bus during the full trip. The tour was supposed to be safe but it wasn’t towards the 2nd half of the day, some people inside the bus stopped using the face mask, I wish the guides would have kept control, since they didn’t I felt unsafe and stressed at that point
