What people are saying about Canical

Great tour with Charlotte. Great recommendation! My sister (34) and I (28) were on board the AIDAcosma. We were picked up in front of the cruise terminal. The pickup time was announced the day before via WhatsApp. First we made a small stop in Machico, where there were toilets and a supermarket if you still need food for the day. The hike was moderate from our perspective (we are not super athletes). We were the youngest in our group and everyone did well. The first hour is flat. Then came the steepest part of the route with an altitude difference of 100-150 meters (approx. 40 minutes). Charlotte set a very comfortable pace, always taking short breaks to make sure everyone was still there. Once at the top there was a lunch break. Then we walked along the cliff for about 2 hours. One participant has a slight fear of heights, but no problems here. Some places were a bit slippery due to the rain. Hiking shoes recommended.

Our tour was incredibly beautiful. Francisco showed us the most beautiful views and also took very nice pictures of us. He was always very attentive and very entertaining to be with. The tour was simply perfect. We also had time to swim and take a speed boat ride. It was very nice.

Very demanding tour with breathtaking views. Our guide Sergio and bus driver were great, it was a lot of fun. The tour was clearly too strenuous for some participants and we therefore often had to wait until everyone was there.

I loved this walk, it wasn't too difficult and the views were stunning. Our guide Charlotte was able to give us a lot of explanations and ensured the well-being of the entire group. I recommend 100%!

Superb walk in Sao Lourenzo And the exceptional guide Francisco
