Top 9 things to do in Capri
The Island of Capri is a paradise in vibrant color. You'll find beautiful blues in the grottos on the coast and luscious red in your Caprese salad at lunch.
1. Blue Grotto
A wonder to behold, the Blue Grotto is a cave that is lit with surreal blue light. Take a boat ride into the grotto and immerse yourself in the depths of Capri's Blue Grotto.
2. Villa San Michele
Stop by Villa San Michele to take in a view of Capri over 300 meters above sea level. When you're done looking at the awe-inspiring view, take a tour of the gardens. You'll find relics from Egypt and many other classical antiquities as you make your way around the villa.
Enjoy the remarkable natural beauty of Faraglioni when you visit Capri. The oceanic rock formation is formed by erosion from the salty waves, creating a picturesque landscape.
4. Villa Jovis
Lose yourself amid the beautiful marble slabs and seemingly endless corridors, and follow the footsteps of Emperor Tiberius--Villa Jovis is one of his former residences. Fit for an emperor, the villa is impressive inside and out. Note that Villa Jovis is closed to the public on Tuesday.
5. Via Krupp
Via Krupp is rumored to have been commissioned by a businessman who wanted an easier commute to his favorite watering hole in a nearby grotto. Via Krupp is occasionally closed due to avalanches, so be sure to check before heading towards this historic footpath.
6. Monte Solaro
Monte Solaro was once a favorite spot for local artists, who were inspired by the natural romance of the mountaintop. Find tranquility and creative inspiration on Monte Solaro and be sure to pay a visit to the statue of Emperor Augustus while you're up there.
7. Punta Carena Lighthouse
This 19th century lighthouse sits on a rocky bay favored by locals and visitors alike. You'll see a light flash every three seconds--after all, the lighthouse is still functioning.
8. Capri Philosophical Park
Active minds will appreciate the many quotations dispersed throughout Capri Philosophical Park. At the turn of the century, the Adler-Karlsson family created the park to pay homage to 60 Western philosophers.
9. Grotto delle Felci
Achieve your dream of visiting a cave that once housed Neolithic men and see Grotto delle Felci while you stay in Capri. While at this grotto, take a moment to appreciate the plethora of archaeological findings--hundreds have been unearthed over the years.

What people are saying about Capri
Excellent day out. Michel, our guide on Capri was very helpful. Blue Grotto was closed due to weather, which was probably a good thing as the replacement boat tour around the island is probably a better experience although it really tested my not too good sea stomach! The very quick (25 minute) jet foil crossing also recommended. Great views from the top of the chair lift in Anacapri and nice lunch there too, not too expensive.
Omg!! Serena was an amazing human being!!! That woman was so friendly, fun and informative!! She made this trip so worth while!! My husband and I was blown away by how much she knew about Italian history!! She brought out my inner child when she told us about the Greek mythology of Italy! When we travel back to Italy we want Serena!! That lady deserves a raise! Wonderful experience!!!
My friend and I had the most amazing experience with this boat trip tour. All of the staff was so helpful, friendly, and trust-worthy. We felt so comfortable and safe as two 22 year old girls traveling alone. The boat tour had about 5 other couples on board who were sweet. They provided drinks, snacks, and helpful information about the islands. 10/10 recommend
Einfach großartig! Wir waren in der Nebensaison im Oktober auf Capri. Dadurch hatten wir die Tour für uns allein. Die Sonne schien. Wir sind in einige der Höhlen mit dem Boot gefahren. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!
What a great experience, and the tour guides were extremely helpful and informative. Highly recommended!!!
