From Fajardo: Icacos Island Full-Day Catamaran Trip

2. From Fajardo: Icacos Island Full-Day Catamaran Trip

Spend a day in the sun with lunch and specialty drinks includes, taking you out on the clear waters of the Caribbean and along the Fajardo coastline aboard a catamaran. Set sail in the morning from Puerto del Rey Marina, the largest and best-kept marina in the Caribbean. On board the catamaran's deck you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains in the El Yunque National Forest, as well as the beaches along the Fajardo coastline. After a comfortable sail of about 45 minutes, you will anchor at one of the small deserted islands and cays off the northeast coast of Puerto Rico. Normally it is the island of Icacos, but the captain will sometimes head to Cayo Lobo or Palominos if the conditions are better for the day. Once you arrive, step off into shallow water and spend the next 1.5 hours walking on the beach, beachcombing, and swimming in the crystal clear waters. Return on board to enjoy your pre-packed lunch. Sodas, water, and juices are also available, and those with a taste for the sweeter things in life will want to sample the specialty piña coladas and tropical rum punch. When you have eaten your fill, the boat will head a short distance out and anchor over the reef for another 1 or 2 hours of swimming or relaxing. A leisurely sail back to Marina Puerto del Rey will bring you back to the dock, with plenty of time to enjoy your afternoon and evening in Fajardo.

What people are saying about Carolina, Puerto Rico

The crew was fun and made my boyfriend and I feel comfortable despite not being great swimmers. Drinks are included in the price and were very tasty. We also choose the transportation from San Juan and note you get picked up in a bus with other guests. The pick-up process was efficient and I always felt safe. Overall a great way to spend the day. Note I would buy snorkels ahead of time as they were about $30 per person at the pier and I felt a little rushed between drop off time and when the boat departed.

I did this activity my 1st day in Puerto Rico and it was AMAZING to say the least! The staff is friendly and helpful everyone was a great time. The drinks and music were great the lunch could've been better but overall I would recommend this activity to others. We were able to relax on the island for a couple of hours and the staff assists with getting on and off the vessel. After the island we went to a snorkeling spot and people enjoyed that as well. Next time I'm in PR I will definitely be booking again

It was a great experience, the island of Icacos has by far the prettiest waters we have seen. The crew were amazing at meeting peoples needs and the entire tour was very well organized from seating to everyones lunch. I would highly recommend this trip and I would definitely take this tour again. Once again thank you to the crew for making it a great trip.

Really lovely trip. Enjoyed the host and the stops. Didn’t feel too rushed while stopping at the island and thoroughly enjoyed the second location for the snorkeling bit. Worthwhile and enjoyable. Would advice to drive to Fajardo rather than use the optional pickup.

It was the most unique and fun experience I have had in a long time!!! Everyone must book an experience they won’t be disappointed.
