Start your day of adventure with a convenient pick-up at your hotel and begin the wonderful journey to the western side of St. Lucia - a destination where you can seemingly step back in time. You will first stop at Morne Fortune, at the Morne Lay-by lookout point, that offers a panoramic view of the Castries Harbor and an up-close glimpse of the over 200-year-old Governor General's House. From there, you will make your way to the Iconic Marigot Bay to capture amazing photos of the bay and the lush surrounding mangrove forest. After leaving Marigot bay, you will pass through the coastal villages en route which includes the banana plantations at Roseau and the fishing villages of Anse-la-raye and Canaries. Both of which are surrounded by amazing tropical vegetation and gorgeous views. As you approach Soufriere you will begin to see the twin peaks and get lost in their majesty. Whilst in Soufriere, you will receive a guided tour of the drive-in volcano ear Soufriere and the opportunity to see the bubbling Sulphur springs. Finally, you will visit a working cocoa plantation where you will learn how cocoa, sugar cane and coconuts are processed using traditional methods. You will also get the opportunity to explore the grounds and learn the interesting history of the plantation.
