Full description
See the most important sights of Casablanca on a sightseeing and walking tour. Named "White House" by a group of Spanish and Portuguese sailors who marveled at the white houses facing the ocean in the Anfa district, today Casablanca ("Dar El Beida" in Arabic) is a bustling city of boulevards and modern infrastructure. Walk around the Habous district, where the small squares and narrow arcade streets provide a fine example of contemporary city planning mixed with the maze-like streets of the traditional medina. Continue towards United Nations Place and the majestic Mohammed V Square. Then, go to the lively Central Market and the surrounding Royal Palace. Explore the colorful Habous Quarter and the Mehkma (Tribunal). Visit the Notre Dame de Lourdes cathedral and the famous Hassan II Mosque to experience 2 religious epicenters of the city. End with a pleasant stroll through the residential area of Anfa and shop in the newly built Morocco Mall on the seafront.

Exciting tour of Casablanca

We could see a lot in time (Rick's Café; Hassan Mosque; a beach cafe; a Christian church; a palace from the inside and a large square full of pigeons). The tour to the mosque was particularly exciting, where we learned a lot about the mentalities. A visit is definitely worthwhile if you want to learn more about religion. We were picked up on time and had a very nice driver or a funny guide who treated us politely and took a lot of photos of us.

Our driver was promptly waiting for us at the port with a clear sign with our name! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and took us to the spots designated as expected on the tour! A fun am with both our guide and driver! Could skip the carpet and “bazaar” stop next time though!

Brilliant Tour

A brilliant tour! Given the very negative criticism of nearly all day tours in Casablanca I was very hesitant to book anything at all, however I am very glad I did! I was picked up by my driver and guide on time in a very new, clean mini-van. The tour itself consisted of all the 'key attractions' however I was very much able to tailor the tour to what I wanted (specifically I was after lunch in the Medina and a tour of the Mosque). Yes the token stop at Ricks Cafe and the rug shop were included however we simply breezed through these once I stated I wasn't that interested. Ultimately the tour ended up going for an an additional hour (at no cost) so that I could see the sights, tour the mosque, stroll along the boulevard and enjoy lunch. Bottom line-Highly recommended! Yes it's on the pricier end of the spectrum but well worth the money. Whilst Casablanca is not a 'spectacular' city (think commercial, Industrial hub) having done this tour I can happily say I have now ticked that box.
