Exclusive dinghy with skipper

2. Exclusive dinghy with skipper

Every day we depart from the port of Cala Gonone at 9:00 or 10:30 for a beautiful dinghy excursion in the Gulf of Orosei. Our advice is to opt for the earliest departure in order to minimise boarding and exit time from the port, which is less busy at 9am. The Captains, expert guides who will give you a detailed and interesting explanation during the navigation, will accompany you to the most beautiful and suggestive beaches (you will see them all) : Cala Luna , Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Le Piscine di Venere, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Goloritzè. (during the beach stops, it will not be possible to stay on board due to the Captain's organisational requirements) . Leaving the port, our skippers will conduct a coastal navigation to allow you to admire the wonders of the coastline from Cala Gonone to Cala Goloritzè up close. During the navigation, our dinghies will be able to get close to many of the marvellous caves and inlets along the coast, such as the famous Grotta del Bue Marino (optional visit with a separate ticket managed by the Municipality of Dorgali), Grotta dei Cormorani, Grotta Azzurra, the Cathedral and the Turquoise; in some you will also be able to swim inside. This will be followed by a stop at Cala Biriola, a delightful small beach with a pinkish colour and emerald-coloured water, and a pleasant swim at anchor in the crystal-clear waters of the Piscine di Venere (Venus Pools), then continuing on to the beautiful Cala Goloritzè where you will make another stop for a swim near the natural arch adjacent to the beach. Back on board, the captain will set course for Cala Mariolu where you will make the longest stop of the day so you can eat, rest and swim for about 2½ hours (or more, particularly with the 9:00 departure). During lunch you will be able to make use of the umbrellas and cooler (every 2 people), which you can ask the captain for before disembarking. In the afternoon you will resume sailing to reach the beautiful Cala Luna, which is even more pleasant in the afternoon as it is very crowded until 2 p.m. Here guests can choose whether to stop for 2 hours for a refreshing swim or 1 hour if they want to visit the famous Bue Marino Caves. Return to port for this type of dinghy excursion is scheduled for 17:30. N.B. if you start at 9.00 a.m. you will make 8,5 hours of excursion. If you start at 10.30 you will make 7 hours.

Castro: 2-Hour Private Tour (Puglia) w/Great View of the Sea

3. Castro: 2-Hour Private Tour (Puglia) w/Great View of the Sea

The guided tour of Castro will begin with a visit of the Mother Church dedicated to the Madonna of the Annunciation. The church was erected on a Greek temple. Of Romanesque design, the interior is characterized by a high altar in Baroque style and numerous paintings such as the Madonna of the Annunciation, protector of the village. Following the tour, you will continue in the narrow streets of the historic center until you get a suggestive view of the sea and its Aragonese castle built on the remains of the oldest Byzantine fortress.  The castle has a rectangular plan with four corner towers. Entering, there will be a courtyard formerly used to store agricultural products that were marketed, and a large scale, now disappeared, with which you accessed the upper floors. In the courtyard, you'll also find the doors of the rooms on the ground floor. Inside, visit the Antonio Lazzari Civic Museum with its permanent archaeological exhibition "Castrum Minervae: between Greeks and Messapi," which will allow you to admire the numerous and various finds from recent excavation campaigns in the area of the historic center.

Very friendly guys who guide you and are helpful if it doesn't work out. Tip is to really wear water shoes or something. In the caves, but also on the beach to get into the water, there are pebbles and boulders. You slip easily. Highly recommended!

Experience made with my two girls, Polignano from the sea is an even more beautiful sight! The guides are also very attentive to the needs of the smallest ones. Highly recommended

Enjoyable trip to see the caves at Polignano. A little more time to master standing up would have been useful (especially for us older ones!).

A fun and interesting activity Some difficulties in finding your balance on the wavelets, but a striking spectacle in the caves!

Mega experience, was great fun 3000 times better than with a boat.
