The trip was just perfect. Our guide spoke perfect English, explained everything to us in great detail and took the time for each and every one of them and did not rush us in any way or put us under any pressure. Andre was well prepared and can only be recommended. He showed us different places, also away from the hustle and bustle, where we could enjoy different perspectives as a small group. At the end of the excursion we were allowed to try wine, honey and local delicacies in a small family business and shop for really little money.

Very excited about this excursion! We had a super nice guide who told us a bit about volcanoes in general and then Etna. Because of his geographical study he could also tell a lot and explained everything with patience. Because of the small group of people in the jeep there was also attention for everyone and it gave a very chill atmosphere instead of going with a massive group. It was a fantastic excursion! Definitely a must to do if you are near Etna. Even for people who know less about volcanism, it is a nice tour where you go home with a lot of new knowledge. Certainly do!

Unfortunately we didn't have good weather. The guide Orazio (?) Was very good. There weren't any problems with communication. We spoke in English and Italian. He told us a lot of interesting stories about this area. One participant in our group of 3 people (65 to 72) was slightly disabled. Orazio always took this fact into account and led and chauffeured us to suitable destinations. Finally, he also took us to the city center at the Domplatz where our accommodation was. The offers at the tasting are not exactly cheap, but they are of excellent quality. Conclusion: definitely to be recommended!
