This was the best decision we made while visiting the Catania area. Maurizio was such a wonderful, sweet and knowledgeable guide - we could not recommend him more! On the way to Mt Etna we stopped in Maurizio’s town where he generously gifted us delicious pastries/desserts as a gift as we were on our honeymoon. We went to Patria, Tornatore and Gambino wineries. We received a tour of the cellar at Patria and enjoyed the stunning views. Tornatore was a quicker stop but very cute and fun! Gambino was a much busier winery with amazing wines and views! We were given local meats, cheeses, olives, bread, etc at each place. We loved this experience and highly recommend!

We had Antonio as our guide for the day. He picked us up promptly at our hotel. We stopped for a honey/wine tasting on the way to Mt Etna. We arrived on Mt Etna in the snow. We walked around and took in the amazing views in the snow and in the lava caves! Then stopped at a local winery for a meal and wine tasting! The his was one of a kind tour and guide!!

Angela was very welcoming into her beautiful apartment. We learnt confidently how to make delicious bruschetta tortalloni and ravioli including chef’s secret and as if that wasn’t enough, we lernt the delights of canolimisu (if I‘m spelling that right) we wanted for nothing

I booked this visit for my family, who were visiting the area for Christmas. They were blown away by all that they learned and had an extremely memorable time learning from Angela, and tasting the delicious wines. Thank you for creating such a special place!

The tour was great! Kids loved! Marco is fantastic!
