In these small factories many tasks were being executed with the aid of wind energy: wood sawn by machine, grounding spices, oil for food and paint, flower, cocoa powder and many other things. Bus driver and tour guide very good. There were multiple language groups on our tour which took away from her time having to speak in 3 languages when she could have devoted more time to share history of the Netherlands. While most of the tulip fields had already been either clipped or plowed up, they made an effort to find an area that still had a few rows of tulips left. Tour was timely. Enjoyed our canal cruise. Felt the narration via recording on canal cruise could have been more informative.
