Tigre Delta Premium Small-Group Tour from Buenos Aires

1. Tigre Delta Premium Small-Group Tour from Buenos Aires

On this fun-filled half-day tour of Tigre and Buenos Aires, embark on an adventure that offers the perfect balance between nature and history. Take in the views on a boat ride, shop local products at a market, and visit the Cathedral of San Isidro. After hotel pickup, hop on a cruise on the widest river in the world while getting spectacular views of the Buenos Aires skyline from the waters of the Río de la Plata (La Plata River). After one hour on the river, arrive at the Parana River’s Delta, a place that truly feels like a fantasy land. Once in the delta, the boat ride continues through a series of narrow channels and islands, a popular weekend getaway for residents of Buenos Aires and an everyday home to thousands of islanders. Experience the majestic scenery that's very different from anything you have seen before while learning all about the locals who live along the peaceful channels with boats as their only means of transportation. At lunchtime, the boat will drop you off at Tigre, a major city within the Buenos Aires suburbs. Enjoy an authentic snack including empanadas (local pasties) and drinks at a historical venue that belongs to the Italian Rowing Club of Tigre City. For the rest of the tour, hop on board a vehicle and drive through the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires to get an overview of what life is like in the outskirts of Argentina’s capital city, home to about 25% of the total population of the country. Along the ride, visit several sites, including the fruit market, a type of bazaar where locals shop for home goods and where you can find some authentic souvenirs. Head to San Isidro, where you'll get to visit the district’s neogothic cathedral. Once the trip is over, get driven back to Buenos Aires. You can choose to be dropped off somewhere on the way to keep exploring the city or you can be taken back to your hotel.

Nice boat trip on the river with an in and out side area. We sat the whole trip outside in the sun and enjoyed the view of all the different houses on the water edge. After that had amazing empanadas in a beautiful traditional house and went to an area with nice little shops in old wear houses where they sold lots of handcraft and nice things. Best part for me was that our lovely tour guide took us to for me unfamiliar areas of the city with lots of beautiful streets and old buildings.

This tour was well organised & it was really interesting to see another other area of BsAs. The snack in the beautiful restaurant was actually 3 large delicious Empanadas . We even had time to buy some lovely souvenirs . Romina was an excellent tour guide and supplied lots of information on the tour .

was quite well. Carolina was super talkable and explained very well about the different places that we went

The Delta and the houses there are amazing. We really enjoyed the trip with Nicolas from Signature Tours.

Aime is an excellent guide with an enthusiasm for people and Argentina.
