The Guggenheim is a marvelous place and we saw some great art and enjoyed some first-rate people watching too. But there's no reason to buy tickets in advance. You can't "skip the line." You get in the normal admission line, show the codes on your phone, and they print you a regular paper ticket. Fortunately the line was short, but it's hardly a timesaver to buy the tickets in advance. Annoying.
die Fahrt zur Statut of Liberty. The tickets counter was not informed how handling the Sightseeing Flex pass. It toke us about one hour to get the right ticket and queuing/Organisation/Control was to long for this kind of sightseeing. All others Activities did work so well in comparison.
though the restroom situation left much to be desired - size-wise and number - the exhibition areas were clean and lit/lighted well with labels placed at a good viewing height. Side rooms could have used more light though. Purchasing tickets on-line was easy.
A different vibe from MOMA and MET; friendly staff; would like more display on valuable items ; really appreciate that there's a lot of display about China and used a neutral perspective (especially in this tense environment)
A lot of fascinating art in a wonderful building! Walking up in the spiral was so interesting. And the view over the lushing Central Park in the Café 3 was very relaxing efter all the impressions you've got.
