Bangkok: Khlong Toei Market & Bang Krachao Island Bike Tour

1. Bangkok: Khlong Toei Market & Bang Krachao Island Bike Tour

Make your first stop of the day at Khlong Toei Market, Bangkok’s largest fresh market. Watch the vendors sell their produce to the busy locals and stroll around the stalls, taking in the sights, smells, and sounds. From there, hop on an iconic tuk-tuk and head to the pier. Board a ferry that’ll take you across the Chao Phraya River. Cycle to Bang Krachao, also called ‘Bangkok Jungle’ or Bangkok’s ‘Green Lung’. Discover one of the rare places in Bangkok where you’ll find yourself immersed in greenery and trees. Spend your time exploring this artificial oasis, passing through banana trees, coconut plantations, and local houses. Stop at a public park and feed the fish, before making your way to a Muay Thai school to observe students practicing the beloved Thai sport. Afterward, visit a local Buddhist temple and stop at a neighborhood Thai restaurant for lunch before taking the ferry back across the river to Khlong Toei Pier. Choose to cycle in a small group or to have your own private guide. Opt to have a private tour with a pickup service, or simply meet your private guide at the meeting point.

Bangkok Paradise Bicycle & Boat Tour

2. Bangkok Paradise Bicycle & Boat Tour

Embark on a full-day bicycle tour of Bangkok. Discover unseen parts of the city, avoid the main streets of Bangkok as you cycle the maze of narrow alleys, small pathways, and elevated concrete bicycle lanes. See beautiful hidden temples and get an unrivaled long-tail boat journey along the canal. Arrive at a local fresh market. While riding across the market see widely differing goods from smoked pig heads to beautiful local flowers. A little further, stop at the remains of defense walls built during the Colonial Era to prevent Western countries from occupying Thailand. Continue to the “Golden Temple". Ride over concrete pathways, through a scenic park, and pass orchid farms before arriving at the pier where long-tail boats are waiting. A spectacular canal trip brings you to the most southern district of Bangkok, which will make you feel like you’re hundreds of kilometers away from the city. Visit a small factory where they produce incense sticks used at traditional Thai temples and stop at a typical Thai/Chinese flower farm.

Khao Yai Vineyard Tasting Tour & Horse Farm Visit

3. Khao Yai Vineyard Tasting Tour & Horse Farm Visit

Take advantage of the day with an early morning pick-up at 6:30 AM from central hotels in Bangkok and depart for PB Valley Khao Yai Winery, one of the finest wineries in Thailand, located at the edge of the Khao Yai National Park. Benefit from the tram that will take you on a comfortable tour around the vast property of around 1000 acres of vineyard and plantation. Learn about wine production and try some of the more famous wines. A highlight of the winery will naturally be the unique wine tasting tour, where four different wines will be served. Discover the wine production center, do some wine tasting and visit the little museum displaying the history of PB Valley. The tour will also include time for a walk through the fruit orchards and flower gardens before you continue to the local restaurant to be served authentic Thai dishes with bottled water with lunch. Afterward, proceed to the horse farm, located close by in the Pak Chong district. Experience life amidst nature and enjoy the farm’s activities in the afternoon, perfect for children from 2 to 12 years of age. Collect eggs from the coop of over 400 free-range hens and put them into a basket, or feed the farm animals and learn how to ride and groom horses/ponies. Horse riding for beginners is a fun and exciting experience. Please wear full-length jeans covering your ankles and sneakers. Helmets will be provided. Once you have completed your horse ride, the transfer to central Bangkok hotels will bring you back, arriving at around 6:30 PM.
