Cesky Krumlov Private Day Trip from Prague

2. Cesky Krumlov Private Day Trip from Prague

One of Bohemia's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. In 1992, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the convenience of a licensed professional tour guide, get acquainted with Cesky Krumlov. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; we can visit the town of Ceske Budejovice along the way instead). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local beer, Eggenberg. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or the Hluboka Castle to your tour.

Take a trip to a fairy tale town: Český Krumlov, outside of Prague, which has been part of UNESCO’s list of cultural and heritage sites since 1992. After being picked up at your accommodation in Prague, take a 2.5-hour drive through the beautiful Czech countryside, stopping in Ceske Budejovice to taste the original "Budweiser" beer.  The town of Český Krumlov is situated in Southern Bohemia in a romantic area of ponds with beautiful countryside along the river Vltava. The historical city center has preserved its medieval atmosphere and picturesque narrow streets. You will find lovely little shops with handmade souvenirs as well. The trip was very interesting and definitely worth seeing. We were blow away by the castle and it’s interior of baroque and rococo styles! The only thing, we’ve got unlucky with the driver/guide. He said he has a lot of respect for russia while it keeps on killing Ukrainians. A refugee who lost a close family member as a result of it was in a group. And just before that we had an ice breaker when a person spoken up about it. I feel like it’s disgraceful and I felt very sorry for a person. Additionally, they made rasial comment to the women of colour in our group, calling them “(nationality) female”. The girls were five min late to the pick up location. So the driver/guide scolded them for nearly ten minutes in front of the entire bus. This just threw me off to be honest. I’d go for another tour to the Chesky Krumlow but the guide could be more considerate of the group, I think.

Victor was informative and funny. He was full of knowledge not just about the places for our activity but also places that we are passing by. He made sure that all is accounted for and went above that is expected . Appreciate it so much and thank you. The activity was fun and enjoyable...

After some initial date changes by the tour provider we had a great day. Lovely village and not full of tourists when we went so could easily wander around and do some shopping

Driver/guide on time and very pleasant. An interesting tour and comfortable transportation. Well done and thank you Yan

The team leader is very kind and detailed. The only downside should be that the return trip did not to go the toilet.
