2. Cesky Krumlov Private Day Trip from Prague

One of Bohemia's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. In 1992, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the convenience of a licensed professional tour guide, get acquainted with Cesky Krumlov. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; we can visit the town of Ceske Budejovice along the way instead). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local beer, Eggenberg. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or the Hluboka Castle to your tour.

Take a trip to a fairy tale town: Český Krumlov, outside of Prague, which has been part of UNESCO’s list of cultural and heritage sites since 1992. After being picked up at your accommodation in Prague, take a 2.5-hour drive through the beautiful Czech countryside, stopping in Ceske Budejovice to taste the original "Budweiser" beer.  The town of Český Krumlov is situated in Southern Bohemia in a romantic area of ponds with beautiful countryside along the river Vltava. What people are saying about Ceske Budejovice

Our guide, Viktor, was awesome! At the beginning I was a bit troubled because of the delay pick-up, but during the trip he explained why and it’s totally understandable - traffic! The entire trip afterwards was really fun, he told everything from the history, building, foods, culture and more. A bit short time at Cezky Budejovice, only 15-30 mins in the town square. But Cezky Krumlov was wonderful, the garden, the view, the city tour, the lunch and beer (!), and the castle tour! Worth the long journey, for sure. Totally happy and satisfied with the trip, thank you Viktor! - Diana & Naresh (from The Netherlands)

Pickup was very efficient and our Guide Viktor was excellent, he gave very good information on the city of Prague, the countryside we travelled through and gave a brief tour of the outer exterior of the castle and gardens, along with showing us a few extra viewpoints in cresky Krumlov including the cathedral.

The guide is fantastic. Our guide was able to share lots of Czech culture and history with his fellows in a humoristic way. The lunch place we were taken to was unique, and the food there was tasty. Overall, it was a pleasant journey at a relaxing pace, which I definitely recommend it.

We went on a day trip from Prague to the magnificent town of Cesky Krumlov. Viktor Dvorak from citytours.cz was our guide and we found him to be professional, kind, informative and a very nice and pleasant man. We would highly recommend him.

Superb medieval city and the visit of the castle is included in the tour! Victor also allowed us to taste the local specialities!
