What people are saying about Chania Regional Unit

Beautiful, fun, entertaining and learning trip

My friend and I, both at 18, are very positive about the trip. We were picked up by the owner of the company Nasos, who also runs his guests. We are greeted by a very smiling and happy man who not only remembered our names throughout the trip, but also knew the best places for us when we were young and he made a map for us so we could easily find around to the different places. We were on the trip with three others and it was very important for Nasos that we all had fun together. We were up in the mountains and valleys and even walked around and saw the views, the nature and the various animals. We were in orange, lemon and olive groves. With an old man in the mountains and hears his story and how he had made the cheese we ate and at a family museum where we saw where the olive oil was made earlier. All in all, we are very positive about the company, the way the trip was shaped, the food and the various specialties. If you want to enjoy your day in good company this is recommended.

Interesting and informative

The drive into the mountains and visit to the shepherds huts was very interesting and informative. Our driver/guide Nasos was very knowledgeable about Crete and its history. The provided luncheon was a first class example of local meat preparation. This excursion took us down roads and to places we would never have otherwise found. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful daytrip in the mountains.

Our guide gave us a wonderful drive through small villages to the mountains. Everything was well planned and safe, and George was a very friendly and attentive companion during the day. Absolutely reccomended!

I liked it very much, the guide was very specific and very nice, I didn't like walking very well. I would love to go again! I heartily recommend!

Very nice and authentic trip, everyone would enjoy it!
