What people are saying about Chania Regional Unit

We had a lot of fun on the mini tour. The guide took great photos of us in the 3D world. And the 9D movie was a great trip into the mionic world thanks to the moving seats. Since there were only two of us at that time, the projectionist asked us if we would like to see another 9D film, which we of course answered in the affirmative. We were then allowed to experience a roller coaster ride through the wild west and the gold mines of that time. Although only 30 minutes in total, the visit was definitely worth it.

Knossos palace is a must see whilst in Crete. The guide on the bus there and at the Site were extremely knowledgeable. The only slight downside is that you don’t get long in Heraklion after the palace (2.5 hours), and if you’re planning on going to the museum there can sometimes be a queue to get in, which means you don’t have long around the actual museum and then have even less time to go into Heraklion to walk around/look for something to eat. However still a great trip that we really enjoyed

Nicky our guide was excellent. The pace of the visit was just right. Her level of knowledge was superb and she made it come alive for us. She gave us the right amount of information and was always willing to answer questions. The tour was very well organised. My only disappointment is that there were many people and the small bus was virtually full so no possibility of social distancing.

Tour of the palace of Knossos and optionally also the archaeological museum of Heraklion, the combination is highly recommended. If you go to Crete a must do. Also nice to see the center of the other big city of Crete for those residing in Chania. Too bad you don't have more time to visit it.

Well organized. Guide on bus was very knowledgeable
